At the bottom of my review I created Friedrich Chill AC comparison chart

Friedrich Chill CP06G10B Review:

The Friedrich Chill 6000 BTU window AC includes a lot of high-end features — many of which are unique only to the Chill Series & Friedrich Kühl Series.

FYI: the Friedrich Kühl Series are super high-end units. They’re mostly purchased for cooling larger areas such as living rooms, offices, and classrooms.

As an Energy Star unit the Friedrich CP06G10B includes a new “MoneySaver” setting. This helps decrease energy usage by running the fan along with the AC.

By running both, the AC can to operate at a lower speed, and therefore save on electricity costs.

It’s important to note that the MoneySaver feature is best when maintaining room temp.

You will likely have to initially run max cooling, but once the temperature is to your liking, the MoneySaver significantly decreases your energy costs.

Great for a bedroom unit + other scenarios in which you plan to run 6+ hours.

Friedrich Chill Series Review:

Personally, I think the Friedrich Chill CP06G10B is the perfect window air conditioner for bedrooms.

There aren’t any crazy awesome features, but it offers fast, quiet cooling in rooms up to 250 sq. ft.

The Friedrich Chill units are usually expensive — however the 6000 BTU AC is relatively affordable, especially since it’s one of the more durable units available.

Buyers who purchased 1-3 years ago say it’s still operates well + saves them money on their electricity bill. They specifically like the MoneySaver mode at night.

The CP06G10B has a higher upfront cost, but is expected to save you 25-30% year-over-year.

If you’re looking for a bedroom window AC and can afford a higher price-point, I think the Friedrich Chill CP06G10B is worth considering.
